I neglected to look at the forum lately and didn't see the new entry! I like the assured, almost arrogant stance. It reminds me of T. S. Eliot's phrase "April is the cruelest month." The willow-like leaves, their spirals around her (echoed on her jacket design) and their shadows on the ground are particularly lovely. I also like the fact that, although the colors fit, the body language and clothing run against the pastoral softness and sentimentality routinely associated with spring.

The body language, alongside the strokes of detail down to the figure's green-on-black eyes is exactly what I aimed to incorporate.
